Le Orme

Watched this last night. Amazing melancholic sci-fi giallo!?

  1. A wonderful film - with the added pleasure of trying to work out what exactly is going on. Yes, melancholic is just the word ... The Turkish locations are incredibly atmospheric too.

  2. Ah, I was wondering where it was shot. Like going on vacation without even leaving home.

  3. This has one of my favourite soundtracks - beautifully melancholic. In the UK, they really try to sell the DVD on Klaus Kinski's name, who is barely in it. They should have emphasised how amazing the soundtrack is. Florinda Bolkan is also on top form.

  4. One of the best film at giving you the feeling of what it is like to live in a paranoid inner world. Loneliness in a beautiful decor. A sort of italian Donnie Darko or Death in Venice set in the seventies. I loved this film.
