Sing Unto the Lord a New Song features some very hip eyewear and an unexpected electronic piece by Richard Felciano of the San Francisco Tape Music Center. I love this photo of the liturgical dancer throwing shapes in front of the choir. There is a nice shambolic cover of a John Ylvisaker song as well. I swear, progressive churches in the 60s were like hothouses for mixed-media experimentalism.
Very groovy. I only wish more churches would take this approach.
