Cuckoo! Here are some photos of Benjamin Britten's Noye's Fludde, from the original 1958 performance and a few other productions in the 60s. That's Britten in the cardigan. Moonrise Kingdom fans have probably already done similar image searches, ha. The Britten-Pears foundation also has Ceri Richards's original animal mask designs (below), and a great short film introducing the opera. I love the revolving 3D image of Mrs. Bear.
