Robin Lehman
Just learned about Robin Lehman, the genius behind a whole catalog of 1970s educational films about winged flight and marine animals among other things. Fans of Jacques Cousteau and Jean Painlevé will like the underwater ones. Amazing spectrum of colors there on the ocean floor. 'Wings and Things' explores the human desire to fly and involves a trance-inducing sequence about the making of a delicate gossamer plane only molecules thick. A few short youtube extracts below.
