Just watched Isabel, a Canadian horror film by Paul Almond. Not really horror, but creepy in the way Rosemary's Baby is. Bleak late winter Quebec setting -- this is exactly how it looks where I am right now. Geneviève Bujold plays a young woman who returns to the family farm after her mother's death. Weird things start happening... That handsome neighbor eerily resembles her deceased brother. And is her uncle really her uncle? This is on Amazon and I believe Netflix.

  1. it looks great (i love rosemary's baby). you watched it on amazon? or do you have any links? because i live in france, and the video on amazon is only for the us. i would love to watch this. always great stuff on your blog :-)

    1. Good question. I can't seem to find the movie except on streaming movie sites in the USA. I will look for a torrent or avi file.

  2. I really want to see this movie too. If anybody have a link ... free or not ^^
