English Magick

I was looking around for info on Austin Osman Spare, English occultism, heterodoxy, etc. and I found these images. Via Weiser Antiquarian Books in Maine.

  1. I'm into old books about occultism and strangeness, even stuff like Von Dänikens Chariots of the gods and such. Sometimes I think the world must have been more interesting when "everyting" wasn't proven scientificly.
I really like the drawings by Austin O Spare and he was the reason that I picked up Psychic TV's Allegory And Self.

  3. These covers are fascinating—there’s a raw creativity here that modern design rarely captures. It’s refreshing to revisit a time when mystery played a bigger role. I think that same sense of imagination is why timeless things like soft toys still resonate, especially for kids today. Saw some nice ones recently at Toynix.pk. Thanks for sharing this.
